Self-etching single-component light curing adhesive which provides excellent bonding to dentine, enamel, composites, metal and amalgam

Jen-Unibond SE contains phosphoric acid methacrylate esters and maleic acid-modified methacrylates which being placed in aqueous surroundings will provide the moderate etching the surfaces of dentin and enamel to allow for the chemical and micromechanical bonding of a restorative material to tooth tissue. These chemically active components can react with tooth hydroxyapatite by forming a chemical bond with the calcium ions. In process of bonding of Jen-Unibond SE to dentin the dissolving of inorganic smear layer and the deminerialization of the intertubular dentin tissue are taken place. In the same time the “polymerizable” adhesive component penetrates into tubular structure of demineralized dentin for forming the resin tags which provide the strong adhesion between tooth tissue and restoration
