ADVANTAGES

• BifluJen LC is a light curing dental varnish.

• It contains an active micronized suspension of Calcium Fluoride and Bioactive Calcium Fluoride-Phosphate containing Glass.

• The combined effectiveness of two ingredients leads to both, an immediate as well as long-term effects.

• Its optimal viscosity allows it to be easily applied to form a thin film and so serve as an insulator of exposed root surfaces.

• The Calcium Fluoride and Bioactive Calcium Fluoride-Phosphate containing Glass in BifluJen LC allow for deep fluoridation and remineralization when applied to floor of cavities or as a form of prevent caries and a source of fluoride ions when applied topically to the teeth.

• BifluJen LC also contains Thymol as a barrier against local bacterial activity.

• BifluJen LC is transparent and therefore very convenient to apply for a dentist and as well for a patient as it does not cause the discoloration of the teeth.

INSTRUCTION

1. Surfaces to be treated are cleaned and thoroughly dried with oil-free air. Do not overdry the dentin surface.

2. When applied to the tooth surfaces, simply drip one or two drops of BifluJen LC onto a mixing pad.

3. Smear a thin layer upon the tooth surface with micro brush or other available applicator.

4. The varnish is allowed to be absorbed for twenty seconds.

5. Avoid forming a thick film of varnish as it will tend easily to peel away. Use oil-free airjet to disperse BifluJen LC over the treated surface.

6. Cure the applied layer with available dental light unit.
Note, that high energy LED photo-polymerizer requires less time for curing the same portion of material (10 sec. is enough, as a rule). Follow to the manufacturer’s instruction.

7. Remove the oxygen-inhibited layer with cotton pellet, control the margins and remove the residuals if necessary. In case the application is correct and good mouth hygiene, the film remains in place for several days.

For lining of cavities drip one or two drops onto an application brush and then use it to smear a layer of varnish onto walls of the prepared tooth cavity.
The varnish is allowed to be absorbed for twenty seconds and then dispersed with oil-free air. Cure the applied layer with available dental light unit.
As a result BifluJen LC forms the water impermeable film.
Then follow the appropriate therapeutic procedure.
